When does Best Buy discount TVs?

The deepest television cuts cluster around the Super Bowl in late January and early February, then again through Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Outside those windows Best Buy still rotates individual sets in and out of promotion most weeks, which is why the list on this page moves daily rather than seasonally.

Is a Best Buy open box TV worth it?

Often yes, since an Excellent Certified or Excellent grade set has been inspected and comes with the same return rights as new stock. The saving is usually 10 to 25 percent, and the risk sits mostly with the lower grades where the box, stand or remote may be missing. Does Best Buy price match TVs?
