Privacy Policy

Who runs OzSavers

OzSavers is an independent publisher covering US technology and electronics pricing. It is not owned by a retailer, a card issuer or a cashback platform. For any privacy question, write to hello@ozsavers.com and we will respond within thirty days.

What data we collect

• Google Analytics 4: aggregated page views, referrer, approximate location at city level, device type and session duration. Used to understand which pages are useful.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics: privacy preserving traffic counts. No cookies are set by this beacon.
• Email captures: if you submit your address to the launch list, we store that address and the submission timestamp so we can email you once when the site opens.
• Server logs: standard request logs including IP address, retained for security and abuse prevention.

We do not sell personal information. We do not ask for payment details. We do not run advertising networks that build profiles across other sites.

Affiliate tracking cookies

Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links. When you click one, the affiliate network sets a cookie in your browser so the retailer can attribute the sale. Networks we expect to work with once the site is live include CJ, Rakuten Advertising, Impact and Sovrn. These cookies are set by those networks, not by OzSavers, and are governed by their own privacy policies. They typically record the click time, the page you clicked from and, after a purchase, an order value with no personal detail attached.

How to opt out

• Block or clear cookies through your browser settings, which stops affiliate attribution and most analytics identifiers.
• Install the Google Analytics opt out browser add on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Enable Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where they are sent.
• Email hello@ozsavers.com to request deletion of your email address from the launch list, or click unsubscribe in any email we send.

California residents (CCPA and CPRA)

If you live in California you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy of it, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of it. OzSavers does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law. To exercise any right, email hello@ozsavers.com with the subject line CCPA Request. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

European and UK residents (GDPR)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases are consent for the launch email list and legitimate interest for aggregated analytics and security logging. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. Email hello@ozsavers.com to exercise any of these rights. Data may be processed on servers located in the United States under standard contractual clauses.

Retention and changes

Email addresses are held until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Analytics data is retained on the default fourteen month window. If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page and, where the change affects the launch list, notify subscribers by email.
