The full list, what is excluded, and the Thanksgiving blackout explained." lang: en-US --- guide · best buy price match # best buy price match, and where it stops. Best Buy will match a lower price on an identical, in stock item from 19 named retailers, and will also match its own price if it drops while you are still inside your return window. It does not match third party marketplace sellers, clearance, refurbished or open box stock, and it suspends matching entirely from the Thursday before Thanksgiving through the Monday after. You get one match per identical item per customer at the time of purchase. The list of who counts is narrower than most people assume, and it is the part that decides whether a request succeeds at the counter. Here it is in full. Policy checked on 15 September 2026 against Best Buy's own policy page (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/price-match-guarantee/qualified-competitors/pcmcat1693426756861.c?id=pcmcat1693426756861). ## the 19 retailers best buy matches. This list took effect on 11 May 2025 and names local retail competitors and these online retailers. - Abt - Amazon - Apple - B&H Photo Video - BJ's Wholesale Club - BrandsMart USA - Costco - Crutchfield - Dick's Sporting Goods - Home Depot - Lowe's - Menards - Microcenter - Nebraska Furniture Mart - P.C. Richard - RC Willey - Sam's Club - Target - Walmart The critical detail is that a product sold on Amazon or Walmart by a third party marketplace seller does not qualify, even though the retailer is on the list. It has to be sold and shipped by the retailer itself. That single rule accounts for most refused price match requests. ## what is excluded. Best Buy will not match clearance, refurbished, open box or pre owned stock, membership only pricing, bundle offers, financing or gift card offers, limited quantity sales, or anything labelled as Black Friday pricing or a special daily or hourly sale. Items offered between the Thursday before Thanksgiving Day and the Monday after Thanksgiving are excluded outright, which removes the single busiest week of the retail year from the guarantee. ## matching a price drop after you have bought. This is the part worth remembering. If Best Buy lowers its own price in store, online or in the app while you are still inside your return and exchange period, it will refund the difference on request. That turns the return window into a price protection window, and it is why a 60 day membership window is worth more than the extra 45 days of return rights alone suggest. Ask for it, because it is not applied automatically. ## how to actually get the match. Have the competitor's live listing open on your phone showing the item in stock at the lower price, sold by the retailer itself rather than a marketplace seller. Check the model number matches exactly, not just the name. Do it at the time of purchase where you can, since that is the case the policy is written around, and a match inside the return window is still available afterwards if the criteria are met. ## common questions. ### Does Best Buy price match Amazon? Yes, on items sold and shipped by Amazon itself. Anything sold by a third party marketplace seller on Amazon does not qualify, which is the most common reason a match is refused. ### Does Best Buy price match after purchase? Yes, in two ways. If Best Buy's own price falls while you are inside your return and exchange window, it will refund the difference on request. A competitor match inside that window is also possible when all the other criteria are met. ### Does Best Buy price match on Black Friday? No. Matching is suspended from the Thursday before Thanksgiving through the Monday after, and anything labelled as Black Friday pricing is excluded on top of that. ### Does Best Buy price match Costco or Sam's Club? Both are on the qualified list, so yes in principle. Membership only pricing is excluded, so a price that requires a Costco or Sam's Club membership to access will not be matched. ### How many times can I price match the same item? One match per identical item per customer at the time of purchase, with further matches possible during the return and exchange window if the criteria are still met. related guides best buy return policy: windows, fees and the eight states with no restocking fee: https://ozsavers.com/articles/best-buy-returns best buy black friday 2026: dates, deals and the fine print: https://ozsavers.com/articles/best-buy-black-friday best buy price tracker: how to check price history before you buy: https://ozsavers.com/articles/best-buy-price-tracker best buy outlet and open box: what each grade means: https://ozsavers.com/articles/best-buy-outlet the catalogue ## keep comparing. biggest price drops right now The twelve largest live cuts across everything we track at Best Buy, ranked by dollars off. - SolarCam D1 Classic (6-Cam) + Video Doorbell Pro + Floodlight Cam Pro + IndoorCam P1… (https://ozsavers.com/p/aosu/9029410259180)save $1,540 - SolarCam T2 Ultra System (https://ozsavers.com/p/aosu/9073009721580)save $1,340 - SolarCam D1 Classic 8-Cam with aosuCortex System (https://ozsavers.com/p/aosu/9091454927084)save $1,300 - 85" Class UR9 RGB MiniLED UHD 4K HDR Smart Google TV with Gemini and Anti-Reflection… (https://ozsavers.com/p/hisense-bestbuy/6673158)save $1,000 - 85" Class UR8 RGB MiniLED UHD 4K HDR Smart Google TV with Gemini and Anti-Reflection… (https://ozsavers.com/p/hisense-bestbuy/6673610)save $1,000 - AI Home Security System G11 Suite (https://ozsavers.com/p/aosu/9276623487212)save $1,000 - aosu T2 Ultra + Video Doorbell Pro + IndoorCam P1 Pro (https://ozsavers.com/p/aosu/9320034795756)save $630 - 65" Class UR8 RGB MiniLED UHD 4K HDR Smart Google TV with Gemini and Anti-Reflection… (https://ozsavers.com/p/hisense-bestbuy/6673609)save $600 - 75" Class UR8 RGB MiniLED UHD 4K HDR Smart Google TV with Gemini and Anti-Reflection… (https://ozsavers.com/p/hisense-bestbuy/6673612)save $600 - AI Home Security System G12 Suite (https://ozsavers.com/p/aosu/9404730212588)save $600 - 4K SolarCam P1 Max with aosuCortex System + Video Doorbell Pro + IndoorCam P1 Pro (https://ozsavers.com/p/aosu/9042870501612)save $548 - aosu T2 Pro + Video Doorbell Pro + Floodlight Cam Pro + IndoorCam P1 Pro (https://ozsavers.com/p/aosu/9264446374124)save $532 every brand we track in depth These are the brands with enough tracked products to be worth a price history page of their own.
